Sandiaga Uno Sells Stocks for Campaign Funds, Sandiaga: Political Process Must Be Light

Jurnal Hub. Candidate for Vice President number 02 Sandiaga Uno admitted selling his shares in Saratoga for the sake of the presidential election campaign. This was done for the sake of transparency in the political process he was carrying out.

"I made this divestment in accordance with the provisions of the capital market, in accordance with information disclosure and for the public to know, both funding needs, both for us to campaign, and for other needs, where it came from, originating from the sale of shares," he said on his visit to Purwokerto Sweet Market on Saturday (12/15/2018).

He said that if information is open to the public, it is hoped that the political process will be open. Because the public knows where the campaign funds come from, where they come from.

"So this hopefully triggers information disclosure for the public. That the political process must be clear. The campaign process as it is now, is going everywhere, it must eat costs and must be transparent," he said.

In fact, continued Sandiaga, every time he went into the community, many of them also participated in providing funds for the campaign struggle.

"I am sad every time I go into the community, people even give money to me, want to take part in the struggle, like yesterday at Teluk Penyu Cilacap, it was given money too. The point is traders, farmers, all want to participate in any amount for our funds campaigning," he said.
