Gerindra: 212 Not Reported, But PAN South Sumatra News Supports Jokowi Crowded in Discussions

Poros Pos. Gerindra Party DPP Chairman Muhammad Syafi'i assessed that individual support for candidate pairs does not need to be considered something big.

This responded to the support of a number of National Mandate Party cadres in South Sumatra to Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin.

"Yes, the institution does not provide support to Prabowo-Sandi. For those individuals, I think the percentage should be questioned," Syafi'i said at the Parliament Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, December 13, 2018.

This member of Commission III of the House of Representatives considers that the media is too exaggerating something that is not really big. While he mentioned the lack of coverage of the 212 reunion action, which was clearly followed by millions of people.

"Even small things are considered to be able to give a negative image to 02, it is reported to be big. Whereas very big things like the 212 reunion will not be reported," explained Shafi'i.

Syafi'i also insinuated that not all those in the coalition supporting Jokowi-Ma'ruf would work for the couple. Many said he wanted to work for Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno.

"Yes, we don't want to explain, whether all the party cadres supporting Jokowi-Ma'ruf below really work for Jokowi-Ma'ruf. And if we open this, I don't think there will be any mainstream media that will raise it," said Shafi'i.
