Celebrating Persija Victory in League 1...

Channel Nasional. Persija Jakarta's success in winning the Indonesian League 1 2018 season will be celebrated on a large scale on Saturday (12/15/2018) today. The title will be celebrated through a parade that starts at Bung Karno Stadium and ends at City Hall. The parade will pass Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan MH Thamrin, and Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan. "So, people who want to do activities outside of carnival activities should avoid the route," said DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.

Kasubdit Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Budiyanto said the police were working with the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency to prepare traffic arrangements along the parade route.

The parade began at 09.00 WIB with a gathering point at the 1st Door of Bung Karno Stadium. It is estimated, there are 150,000 Jakmania, or Persija supporters who participated in the parade. "To break down density, most of The Jakmania will be directed directly to City Hall," Budiyanto said. He said, the flow of traffic would be diverted situationally when the march crossed the crossing. Traffic flows on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan were also diverted when crowds had gathered at City Hall. The open bus and community party Anies said, the celebration would be packed like a people's party. He said, the entertainment stage and the big screen had been prepared so that all people who came could witness the activity. "There are musical activities too, this is a kind of people's party that welcomes the victory of Persija, which God willing, a new round, not the last victory. These achievements must be maintained in the future," said Anies.

Meanwhile, PT Transjakarta has set up a level bus unit with an open roof to transport players in the parade. PT Transjakarta Operational Director David Joseph said, this bus is indeed devoted to marches or processions because it has a roof that opens on the front of the second floor. "This car for the procession is the center of attention precisely on the front, the open roof. There, there can be 10 to 15 people carrying trophies. Usually those who celebrate the victory are teams, yes," he said.
